Booking availability: September to the end of November
September to the end of November is our busiest season of the year. These months bring some of the best fishing on Tokyo Bay, and weekend dates in particular tend to fill up well in advance.
Dates one to two weeks ahead are usually still available. If you already know roughly when you will be in Japan, please send your enquiry early - it gives us the best chance of finding a date that suits your trip.
Your private Tokyo Bay adventure
No previous fishing experience is needed. Tell us what you’re interested in, and Captain Sato will arrange the best trip based on the season, the weather, and your group.
Rods, reels, tackle, seasonal lures, and life jackets are included in the charter price. The boat also has a marine toilet, an enclosed cabin, USB charging ports, and other useful onboard features. You can contact us in English through the enquiry form or via WhatsApp.

Choose between our 4-Hour Private Charter and our 6-Hour Extended Private Charter. A private charter costs ¥55,000–¥120,000 for the whole boat, not per person, including Japanese consumption tax and all essential fishing gear.
4-Hour Private Charter
Perfect for first-time anglers, families, and travellers with limited time.
Target species: Japanese sea bass, horse mackerel, rockfish, and more.

Child discount: For pricing and capacity purposes, two children under 12 count as one adult. Where there is one child under 12, that child also counts as one adult. This discount applies to both the 4-hour and 6-hour private charters.

6-Hour Extended Private Charter
More fishing time and greater flexibility for guests who want to explore more of Tokyo Bay.
Target species: Yellowtail, Spanish mackerel, cutlassfish, and more.

Lost rental lures: A replacement fee of ¥1,000 (tax included) applies for each lost rental lure.
Large-lure fishing (big bait): Large lures for big-bait fishing are not included or available for rental. Please bring your own, or purchase an ELEMENTS Davinci lure onboard.
Once we send your booking confirmation email, cancellation fees apply:
- Up to 11 days before your trip: 30% of the charter fee
- From 10 days to 2 days before: 50%
- The day before: 80%
- On the day: 100%
Your safety comes first. We may have to cancel departure because of a sudden change in the weather, or because we find a fault during our pre-departure check. In that case no cancellation fee applies: we’ll refund your fee in full, or move your booking to another date if you prefer.
If conditions change after we depart, the trip may end early for safety reasons. In that case the full charter fee still applies.

Mr. Jim joined Captain Sato and Captain Ito for a private sawara casting trip during his seventh visit to Japan.

Is there a child discount?
Yes. For both the 4-hour and 6-hour private charters, two children under 12 count as one adult for pricing and capacity purposes. Is this suitable for complete beginners?
Absolutely. Captain Sato provides clear, step-by-step instruction before and during the trip, making the experience suitable for first-time anglers.
Can I choose the departure time?
Yes. You may choose any departure time, day or night, subject to availability and other bookings.
Can children join?
Yes. Children under 12 are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
How many guests can join?
The standard maximum capacity is five guests. For capacity and pricing purposes, two children under 12 count as one adult. Where there is one child under 12, that child also counts as one adult. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend a group size equivalent to two to four guests.
Is there a toilet?
Yes, the boat has an electric marine toilet.
What can we catch?
Japanese sea bass is our main target. Depending on the season and conditions, we may also target Spanish mackerel, yellowtail, cutlassfish, octopus, horse mackerel, and other species.
Do we need to bring our own equipment?
No. Both plans include rods, reels, tackle, seasonal lures, life jackets, and other essential fishing gear.
Large lures for big-bait fishing are not included or available for rental. Please bring your own, or purchase an ELEMENTS Davinci lure onboard.
What if I damage or lose the rental gear?
Please handle the rental tackle with care. A replacement fee of ¥10,000 (tax included) applies for a rod, and ¥10,000 (tax included) for a reel. A replacement fee of ¥1,000 (tax included) applies for each lost rental lure.
How long does it take to reach the fishing area?
Nearby areas typically take about 20–30 minutes to reach. Longer-distance trips may take around one hour each way, depending on the destination and conditions.
Can we take our catch home?
Yes. Bring a cooler box, or ask us about our simple take-home packing service (available for an additional fee).
What useful supplies are available onboard?
We keep a range of useful supplies on board, including hand sanitiser, wet wipes, sickness bags, garbage bags, a toilet privacy poncho, sanitary products, fishing gloves, glasses cleaner, and safety glasses.
Basic headache and motion sickness medicines are also available. Please ask Captain Sato before taking any medication.
Can the meeting point change?
Yes. The meeting point may change depending on tide and safety conditions. We’ll send the confirmed meeting point map, parking information, and meeting time by email or WhatsApp.
Payment is made after your trip. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB. Electronic money payments are also available through Square, including Suica, PASMO, other major transit IC cards, iD, and QUICPay.
